OK BSeese. I think that we might have finally broken the code on the Shrimpin Dippin Broth. I got this direct from the guys at Bubba Gump's in Charleston.
Take a stick of butter and place in a pan. Add a couple shakes of hot sauce (Bubba's or something like Texas Pete's). A tablespoon of Worchestershire sauce, a tablespoon of black pepper, and a teaspoon of Bubba Gump's Seafood Boil. Now add your cleaned and deviened fresh shrimp and cook for 1 minute over medium heat. Add 16 oz of clam juice and bring to a boil, remove from heat after one minute.
I haven't tried it just yet, but will shortly. You will need to adjust slightly to taste, but as the chef at Bubba's said, don't skimp on the butter. One stick's worth is minimum.
Serve with rice and french bread for dipping.
