C&H BROWN SUGAR CORNBREAD MUFFINS
1 1/2 cups cornmeal
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup C&H dark brown sugar, packed
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) melted butter or margarine
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Grease 12 muffin cups.
Mix together cornmeal, flour, brown sugar, baking powder and salt.
Combine milk, egg, and melted butter. Add to cornmeal mixture. Stir to mix just until moist. Fill prepared cups 2/3 full.
Bake in 425 oven 20 minutes until muffins are golden brown.
