Recipe: Canadian Bacon-Bean Bake (using pork and beans and orange slices)

CANADIAN BACON-BEAN BAKE

1 (1 pound) can pork and beans in tomato sauce
1 tablespoon instant minced onion
1/4 cup catsup
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
4 1/4 inch thick orange slices
8 slices Canadian-style bacon about 1/4 inch thick
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine pork and beans, onion, catsup, horseradish, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Pour in to a 10 by 6 inch baking dish.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.

Arrange orange slices and bacon on top. Sprinkle with brown sugar and dot with butter. Bake for 30 minutes more.
