Recipe(tried): Candy Bar Cookies (Not Brownies) (corrected 2-22)

Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, Bars
Karen, this isn't a brownie recipe, but you put your favorite candy bar (chopped up), in. I always thought Mounds would be good in them.

CANDY BAR COOKIES

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 heaping cup of flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
dash of salt
1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans
2 candy bars

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a large mixing bowl combine butter, sugars, egg and vanilla. Sift flour and stir into butter mixture along with baking soda and salt. Stir in chopped nuts and candy bar pieces. Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees F.
