Did a little looking. Remember the black on white cutouts of childrens
heads (shadows) that used to be popular? Well jazz bands used horns.
Do a "stage" with shadow of jazz horn player. Dress is formal. Table cloths etc.
Cloth napkins. Could do some creative iron-ons on napkins and let them be taken home. Maybe some Bubbly in buckets with carbonated grape juice. Real ice or celophane fillers and those paper springy things in fancy colors. Plastic stemed glasses. Do more of a Gay Ninety type of thing.
Could have "Kiss Roses" in vase at tables or lying beside each place setting.
Kiss Roses
For each rose you will need:
2 hershey kisses
Thin wire or tape to secure "bud" to stem
1 floral stem
A silk leaf or two
Floral Tape
Square of plastic colored Reynold's wrap
Ribbon of choice
Place flat sides of Kisses together, Cover and wrap with square of Reynoads
wrap to form "rose bud". Secure wrap to floral stem. Wrap stem with floral tape.
Add ribbon bow on rose if desired.
Make a few for vase, or make one for each place setting. The pink and yellow wrap work quite well.
adding leaf or two along way.
