You can use that method.
Fill the jars half full of the dried beans, add boiling water, 1 tsp. salt, and pressure can quarts for 90 minutes at 10 lb. pressure weighted gauge, use 11 lb. dial gauge.
If you boil the beans first, then you fill about 3/4 full of beans.
Be sure to leave 1-inch headspace when canning dried beans.
