Recipe: Caramelized Onions

Caramelized Onions: Onions can be caramelized very quickly over medium-high
heat or slowly over a medium-low burner. Either way, add a little oil or
butter to the pan, then the onions. If desired, add a pinch of sugar to
intensify the caramelization. Cover and saut , stirring often, until
well-browned, adding a little moisture if needed to keep from burning.
