Recipe(tried): Champagne Punch

I searched and searched (in the days before the internet) and finally found a
great champagne punch recipe for my husband's 50th birthday party:

4 bottles champagne
1 quart club soda
2 cups curacao (a liqueur)
2 cups brandy
1 cup maraschino
1 cup *powdered* sugar (to dissolve easily)
1 cup lemon juice
2 cups orange juice

combine all except soda and champagne.
Add the bubbly when ready to serve -- yum!
