CHEESY BURGER PIE
1 (15 ounce) package Pillsbury pie crusts
1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed
1/2 cup ketchup
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
Prepare pie crust as directed on package for two-crust pie using 9-inch pie pan.
In large skillet, cook ground beef and onion until beef is browned and thoroughly cooked. Drain. Stir in mustard, salt, garlic powder and pepper.
Spoon half of beef mixture evenly into crust-lined pan. Top with half of the cheese cubes. Spoon remaining beef mixture over cheese. Top with remaining cheese cubes. Drizzle evenly with ketchup. Sprinkle evenly with cheddar cheese. Top with second crust; seal edges and flute. Cut slits in several places.
Bake at 400 degrees F for 30 to 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
