Recipe(tried): Chocolate Chip Brownies with Raspberry Sauce - This is a great dessert brownie

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup flour (I usually use whole wheat pastry flour)
1 cup chocolate chips, melted
1/2 cup chocolate chips
chopped walnuts (optional)
RASPBERRY SAUCE:
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
2 cups of fresh raspberries
1/2 cup of water
BROWNIES:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.
In mixing bowl beat together butter, sugars, baking powder, and salt until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until combined. Add flour and beat until smooth. Beat in melted chocolate. Stir in chocolate chips (usually I add walnuts also). Pour into prepared pan.
Bake for 30-35 minutes in 350 degree oven. Cool in pan on rack.
IRASPBERRY SAUCE:
In a medium saucepan thoroughly stir together 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch. Add 2 cups of fresh raspberries and 1/2 cup of water. Cook and stir until mixture is slightly thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir about 2 minutes. Cool slightly
Cut cooled brownies into squares, top with ice cream and raspberry sauce.
