Recipe(tried): Chocolate Chip Cherry Banana Bread

Breads - Muffins, Quick Breads
This is not a muffin recipe, but it is a chocolate chip-cherry banana bread. It is very pretty and interesting when sliced. It is also easy to bake.

1 Cup sugar
1/2 C butter or margaine
2 eggs
1 C mashed bananas
4 TB sour milk
2 C flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 C chopped nuts (optional).

For festive accents add 1/2 C chocolate chips and 1 sm jar of whole marachino cherries. The cherries will slice when you slice the bread. Bake in a greased loaf pan 350 degrees - 1 hour.

This recipe is easily doubled. Enjoy! Happy Valentine's Day :)
