Recipe(tried): Coconut Chocolate Cheesecake - good,, would be great with a few changes
Desserts - CheesecakesMy daughter had a Chocolate coconut cream cheesecake at the the Cheesecake Factory recently and absolutely loved it. For her b-day I came across this recipe and thought it looked worth giving a try. This dessert came out, just ok. I think if there were more chocolate, extra coconut flavoring; coconut cream/milk etc it would have lived up to it's name. I also think the shredded coconut should be processed to a finer consistency to blend better with the cream cheese texture; the larger pieces just seemed to interrupt the smoothness of what cheesecake is about.
