I found an older Ideal Macaroni pamphlet; however, I see it was printed before zip codes were around and no tuna salad recipe.
As a former Clevelander, (and darn proud of it); I remember around Lent this was a popular dish.
I didn't find the exact recipe; but this one may (at least) give you the basic measurements. Hoping someone will be able to find the recipe you are seeking.
COLD TUNA MACARONI SALAD
1 (6 ounce) can tuna fish (drained); seems in the 70's tuna was only packed in oil.
1 (7-8 ounce) package of macaroni, cooked, drained and set aside to cool.
2 hard boiled eggs, finely chopped
1/4 cup green or red bell pepper, chopped
2 stalks (ribs) of celery, chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped (I don't remember adding green onions, and the regular onions, chopped, about 1/4 cup, was an 'optional' ingredient.)
1 cup frozen green peas cooked and cooled (or use 1 small can of peas, well drained)
3/4 cup mayonnaise (we used Miracle Whip)
2 tablespoons pickle relish (drained)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (or to your own taste of regular ground pepper.)
Cook macaroni according to package directions; then drain and rinse with cold water; allow to cool.
Add drained tuna, eggs, pepper, celery, onions and peas and mix well.
In a small bowl mix together mayonnaise, pickle relish, salt and pepper. Add to the macaroni and mix well.
Place in refrigerator for several hours before serving.
