Recipe: Brown Cow (root beer float) with Variations

BROWN COW

"Enjoy this old-fashioned favorite-or try a variation for a new flavor treatl"

4 scoops vanilla ice cream
2 cans (12-oz. each) root beer, chilled (3 cups)

Using 4 tall glasses. place 1 scoop ice cream in each glass. Fill each with about 3/4 cup root beer. Serve immediately with straws.

FLAVOR VARIATIONS
Substitute desired flavor beverage for equal amounts of root beer:

COLA COW: cola-flavored carbonated beverage
CREME COW: creme soda
RASPBERRY COW: raspberry-flavored carbonated beverage
PURPLE COW: grape-flavored carbonated beverage
ORANGE COW: orange-flavored carbonated beverage
STRAWBERRY COW: strawberry-flavored carbonated beverage
LEMON-LIME COW: lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
