Recipe(tried): Corn Chowder (Using Cream Style Corn And Potatoes)

CORN CHOWDER

1/2 cup diced salt pork or bacon
3 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
1/4 cup minced onion
2 cups water
1 (16 oz) can cream style corn
2 teaspoons salt
Dash ground black pepper
2 cups light cream, scalded

Cook pork or bacon over medium heat until brown.

Add remaining ingredients except cream. Cook until potatoes are tender.

Stir in cream; heat but do not boil.

Makes 4 servings
