Recipe: Cran-Apple Crisp (microwave)

Desserts - Fruit
Cran-Apple Crisp (Microwave)

6 cups cored and sliced cooking apples
1/2 cup cranberries
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
2/3 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
1/3 cup all-purpose flour, unsifted
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened

Place apple slices and cranberries in 2-quart (8 x 8 inch) glass baking dish. Toss with 1 tbsp. flour.

Combine remaining ingredients, except butter in mixing bowl.

Cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.

Microwave for 12 to 16 minutes on HIGH or until apples are tender.

Hi Dee,

If the original recipe doesn't turn up you could try substituting half of the apple slices with pear slices in this recipe. It would probably be yummy!

Happy Baking,

Betsy
