Recipe: Crock Pot Steak and Peppers (using soy sauce, garlic and ginger)

CROCK POT STEAK AND PEPPERS

1 (2 pound) lean round steak, 1-inch thick, cut in serving-size portions
2 green bell peppers, cut into 1/2-inch strips
1 cup beef broth
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Place half the steak in the crock pot. Arrange green peppers on the steak. Place remaining steak on top.

Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over meat.

Cover crock pot and cook on LOW setting for 8 to 10 hours, or on HIGH setting for 3 to 4 hours.

Makes 4 to 6 servings (about 2 quarts)
