Recipe: Cranberry Pot Roast - Please tell me what you think of this recipe

Main Dishes - Beef and Other Meats
CRANBERRY POT ROAST

3 lb. top of the rib
2 stalks of celery, sliced
1 medium onion diced
1/2 cup water
1 (16 oz) can cranberry sauce
1 (16 oz) can tomato sauce
12 cloves garlic

Brown meat on each side. Remove from saucepan; set aside.

Place veggies with water in the pot and simmer until soft.

Add sauces and heat until bubbly, add garlic. Place meat back in and simmer for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

What do you think of this recipe? I'm thinking of leaving the celery out and maybe adding a carrot instead?

Thanx in advance.
