Recipe: Crunchy Pea Salad (using water chestnuts, bacon, and peanuts)

CRUNCHY PEA SALAD

1/3 cup sour cream
2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
1 Tbsp milk
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1 (10 oz) pkg frozen peas, thawed
3/4 cup sliced water chestnuts
3 Tbsp green onions, sliced
2 Tbsp cooked bacon pieces
1/4 cup Spanish peanuts

For dressing combine sour cream, vinegar, milk, sugar, salt and garlic powder in a small bowl.

In a large bowl, combine peas, water chestnuts, green onions, bacon pieces and peanuts.

Add dressing to vegetables and toss lightly to coat. Cover and chill.

Servings: 6
