Recipe(tried): diane, MN (spring roll dippign sauce)

Misc.
diane,

i can't tell you the exact measurement of this sauce because i dont' really meansure the ingrendients. you are looking for the Vienamese spring roll sauce, nto the chinese one (judging from the description.) ^_^
ok, it should have fish sauce (use vietnamese one or Thai, not the ones from china), sugar, lime/lemon juice or white vinegar will also work, water, sliced red chili pepper (normal practice is the bird's eye chilies, deseeded and shredded), some restaurants use shredded carrot instead. it's up to you. mix all ingredients together (except the chilli pepper) until sugar is dissolved. thend add in the chili pepper. serve it with your spring/egg rolls.
i could provide you the approx. measurement but you will have to wait for a couple of days as i am in the process of moving. we will have a house warming party in a coupel of days and i will make spring rolls as one of the dish. 9so i can pay attention to what i do when i cook. lol) so, pls. try it out my suggestion for now.

have a great day!
