Recipe: Easy Cheesy Lemon Bars (using cake mix)

EASY CHEESY LEMON BARS

1 (17 oz.) pkg. lemon cake mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
3 eggs, divided use
1 pkg. lemon frosting mix (2-layer size)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened

Mix cake mix with butter and 1 egg until moist. Pat into 9x13 inch pan.

Mix dry frosting mix with cream cheese until smooth. Set aside 1/2 cup for frosting the bars. Add 2 eggs to remaining frosting mixture and beat 3-5 minutes. Pour over cake mixture in pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Let cool in pan When cooled, frost with remaining frosting.

Dear Lisa,

This isn't a Jiffy mix recipe but you could use 2 packages of Jiffy Lemon Frosting (and 2 Jiffy cake mixes) if you'd like. If this isn't like the recipe you're looking for let us know and we'll keep looking.
