Recipe: Easy Fruit Cobbler (using biscuit mix) and Substitute for self-rising flour

Desserts - Fruit
Hi Carol,

There are cobbler recipes using Bisquick as an ingredient, but I don't think substituting it in a recipe calling for self-rising flour will give you the same results because Bisquick has shortening in the mix. Here is a substitute for self-rising flour:

For 1 cup self-rising flour use:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
a pinch of salt

And here is a cobbler recipe using Bisquick:

I hope that's a help!
