Recipe(tried): Elderberry Jelly - Tip

Preserving - Jams, Jellies
Give you a good clue. Pop the heads in the freezer long enough for it to freeze good. Take out a stem or town and pop the berries right off the stems into a pan. Works great !

I have found that the recipe off of Sure Jell is the one I use as the list Elderberries. Also you can add other juices like apple or grape. You can't tell that there is any other juice in the jelly. When I get done I just cover the berries and boil for a few minutes and then they are ready to deal with. I put mine thru a blender and then strain with a gauge cloth. There are other options that you can use.

My mom and dad use to make this when iw as young and I think my grandparents did too. You can make wine out of it. You can make it for diabetics.

Good Luck !
