Fettucine Carbonara
12 oz. fettucine
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sliced green onions
4 1/2 oz. mushrooms, drained
8 oz. cream cheese, cubed
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups cooked ham, cubed
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
*Cook fettucine, drain and set aside. In large saucepan, saute onions and mushrooms in butter. Stir in cream cheese and milk. Over low heat, continue stirring until cheese melts. Add fettucine and ham. Toss to coat. Cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with parmesan (I have added leftover peas to this).
