Beverages

Flavored Teaspoon Stir-In's

Cooking Spray
34 pieces fruit flavored hard candies{I use lifesavers}crushed
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
heavyweight plastic spoons{I use the pretty colored ones or the gold or silver}

You will need to line a jellyroll pan with waxed paper, spray with cooking spray. In a small heavy saucepan, combine crushed candies and corn syrup over low heat,stirring frequently until candies melt.{be patient this will take time}. when candies have melted spoon candy into bowl of each spoon.place spoons onto prepared pan allowing the spoons to rest on the side of the pan so the spoons are level.Allow candy to harden.After they have set up and have cooled wrap in pretty cellophane. [ like to sprinkle colored sugar on the tips of the spoons after they have cooled slightly before they have set}. about 24 spoons. Butter-rum flavored is really good stirred into tea or coffee..
