Recipe(tried): freezing corn

Misc.
I still prefer to blanch and freeze. I put in the boiling water for 7 minutes, then immediately in ice water for about the same time, or until it feels cold. Then drain well, put in bags, and freeze. That is the USDA method for freezing corn. I know some people do as Patsy said, some with great results, some who said it tastes like the cob.
