Recipe(tried): Freezing Corn on the Cob

TO FREEZE SWEET CORN ON THE COB THAT WILL KEEP FOR YEARS.... HUSK,SILK, AND WASH CORN. BLANCH WHOLE IN A LARGE POT (BRING TO A BOIL AND BOIL FOR AT LEAST 3 MINUTES). COOL CORN IN COLD RUNNING WATER OR AN ICEWATER BATH. DRAIN AND WRAP IN SARAN WRAP (APPROXIMATELY 3 LAYERS THICK THEN PUT WRAPPED EARS OF CORN IN 1 GALLON FREEZER BAGS, ZIP, AND FREEZE. I HAVE EATEN CORN THAT WAS PREPARED IN THIS MANNER THAT HAD BEEN FROZEN FOR FIVE YEARS.... SUPER KEEPER!
