Recipe: Just Good Cookies

Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, Bars
JUST GOOD COOKIES

1 cup butter, softened
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
3 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 cups oat
1 (12 oz) pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
coconut, raisins, or peanuts (optional)

In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and sugar. Add in eggs and vanilla, beat until light and fluffy.

Sift flour and baking powder together; add to creamed mixture and blend well. Stir in oatmeal and chocolate chips. May also add coconut, raisins, or peanuts, if desired. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheets.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes.

Makes about 2 dozen large cookies
