Recipe: Fudge Nut Brownie Cookies (Pillsbury Fudge Brownie Mix box)

1 (21 1/2 oz.) pkg. Pillsbury Fudge Brownie Mix
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
1 can Pillsbury Chocolate Fudge Frosting Supreme (optional, for frosting)
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Generously grease cookie sheets.
In large bowl, combine brownie mix, flour water, oil and egg. By hand, stir with spoon until dough is formed. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 8 to 12 minutes. Cool 1 minute. Remove from cookie sheets; cool completely.
If desired, frost cookies with chocolate frosting
TIP: For a thicker cookie add an additional 2 to 4 tablespoons flour.
