Recipe(tried): German Potato Soup (using frozen hash browns, crock pot)

1 lb cooked smoked sausage, halved lengthwise and cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1/2 of a 28 oz pkg frozen diced hash brown potatoes with onion and pepper (about 4 cups)
1 (16 oz) jar sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
2 tbsp stone ground mustard
3 cans (14 oz each) chicken broth (5 1/4 cups)
In a sprayed 4-to-5 quart crock pot place the sausage, potatoes, sauerkraut and mustard. Pour the broth over the sausage mixture.
Cover crock pot and cook on LOW for 7 to 8 hours or on HIGH for 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours.
Makes 6 servings
