Recipe: Golden Glazed Chicken (using chicken legs) (Campbell's, 1975)
Main Dishes - Chicken, PoultryGOLDEN GLAZED CHICKEN
6 chicken legs (about 2 1/2 pounds)
1 tablespoon melted butter or margarine
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can Campbell's Condensed Golden Mushroom Soup
1/4 cup sweet vermouth (or grape juice)
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 cup chopped pimiento
Chopped fresh parsley (optional garnish)
In shallow baking dish (13x9x2-inches), arrange chicken skin-side up; brush with butter.
Bake at 400 degrees F for 45 minutes; baste once with pan drippings.
Combine remaining ingredients; spoon over chicken.
Bake 15 minutes more or until chicken is done. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Makes 4 servings
