Recipe: Golden Glow Fruit Salad (Pillsbury Cookbook, 1963)

GOLDEN GLOW FRUIT SALAD

2 egg yolks (pasteurized)
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup heavy (whipping) cream
1 cup black grapes (seedless or seeded)
1/2 cup green grapes (seedless or seeded)
1 cup orange sections
1 cup cubed apple
2 bananas, sliced
1/3 cup chopped nuts

Beat egg yolks and sugar until thick.

Beat cream. Fold whipped cream into egg mixture. Add fruit, except bananas and nuts. Refrigerate.

Just before serving add bananas. Garnish with nuts.
