Recipe: Graham Cracker Squares (using marshmallows, coconut, and nuts)

Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, Bars
GRAHAM CRACKER SQUARES

3/4 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3 cups crushed graham crackers
2 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows*
4 tbsp. flaked coconut
1 cup chopped nuts

Combine first 3 ingredients. Bring to a boil over very low heat, stirring constantly. Set aside to cool to lukewarm. (Use heavy aluminum pan if available.)

Add remaining ingredients and blend until marshmallows are partially melted. Pat down in a 9x13x2 inch pan. Chill and cut into squares. Squares are better if made ahead 12 hours or more.

These almost pass for candy.

*For more color use colored marshmallows.
