Recipe(tried): Grape Chicken salad -- by Joy!

Oh Joy you are gonna laugh -- you posted this recipe! too funny! posted 5-9-98 by Joy /az says so right here! puch at the end of this too ....

Chicken Salad with grapes: (what i did to make it easy)
3 cups (3 cans premimum white chicken sold at costco)
1 1/2 cup diced celery (1.5 single stalks, was not good in store)
1.5 cups seedless grapes (2 lbs red cut in 1/2)
3/4 cup toasted sliverd almonds (1 pkg sliced almonds beat up)
3 TLBS lemon juice (i just kinda did a quick tilt of the bottle)
I added a small can of water chestnuts, drained

Dressing: ( ifelt like my ing. needed a double of the dressing)
1 cup mayo (approx. 2 cups -helmans)
1/4 cup light cream or pinapple juice (1/3 cup 1/2 & 1/2 and 1/4 cup apricot necter as i had some open :)
salt & pepper to taste ( i did niether)

combine basic then add grapes almonds and dressing mix well chill 1 hour. I combined the chestnusts, meat, grapes, left in ziploc overnight. mixed up the dressing and left seperate overnight then cominded all together with celery and almonds in the am let sit in fridge til lunch.

I lined the bowl with boston bib lettuce and place the salad in and topw with a few extra almonds and whole grapes
