Recipe(tried): Grape-Nuts and Oatmeal

Breakfast and Brunch
I think this recipe came from a Grape-Nuts magazine ad. I have made it a lot in the past. This morning I used Old Fashioned Oats in it and omited the sugar or honey and liked it just fine. I had it with some defrosted organic strawberries from the huge bag I purchased at Costco which I sprinkled with some Splenda sweetener. A very stick to the ribs breakfast for November!

Grape-Nuts and Oatmeal
Makes 2 servings

1/2 cup Post Grape-Nuts Brand Ceral
1/3 cup uncooked quick oats* (I used Old-Fashioned)
3/4 cup milk (I used part soy, part non-fat)
2 tsp. brown or granulated sugar or honey (optional)

*Or use 1 pkg single serving instant oatmeal

Microwave instructions:Mix all ingredients in microwavable bowl. Cook at high 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Stir.

Range Top instructions: Place cereals and sugar in bowl. Heat milk to almost boiling and stir into cereal. Let stand until of desired consistency.
