HOMEMADE CINNAMON CANDY
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup water
red food coloring
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon oil
Combine sugar, syrup, water, and enough coloring to reach desired color.
Boil to hard crack stage, 295 degrees F. Immediately add cinnamon oil.
Pour into medium sized cookie sheet with sides.
As it begins to cool, score with a knife into squares. Break into pieces.
