Peanut Butter Melt Away Eggs

This is a very simple way to make the melt aways. Everyone loves them.

Buy the make and mold milk chocolate candy wafers I buy mine at AC Moore's, 2 bags of them is what I use.

Pour one bag in a microwavable container and melt in microwave following the directions on the bag of wafers.

After melted add about 4 huge tablespoons of peanut butter to mixture taste mixture to see if it meets your peanut butter fix if not add more peanut butter you may have to heat it a little more after adding peanut butter.

Spoon into egg shape molds and place in freezer for a few minutes until chocolate cools and hardens.


You can then melt the other bag of chocolate and dip the eggs in plain chocolate to make the like the melt away eggs you buy in a store. After dipping the eggs set on wire rack to harden. A bag of chocolate will do about a dozen eggs.

I have made my eggs this way for several years now and they are a big hit.
