Recipe: Homemade Herb Croutons

HOMEMADE HERB CROUTONS

2 cups diced (1/2-inch cubes) white bread, crust removed
1 1/2 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. dried thyme
1 tbsp. freshly grated Parmesan Cheese (optional)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Place bread cubes on baking sheet, drizzle with oil and toss to combine. Add oregano and thyme; toss again. Spread in single layer.

Bake for 10 minutes or until crisp and brown. Remove from oven and toss with Parmesan cheese, if desired.

Makes about 1 1/2 cups
