I found 2 recipes for you, on specifies the time in the microwave, the other doesn't. The time specified in the first recipe should be a nice guideline. Hope this helps. I have some vidalias in the fridge, I may try one of these recipes!
Honey Baked Vidalias
From: Vidalia Sweet Onion Lovers Cookbook by Bland Farms
6 medium Vidalia Sweet Onions, (about l l/2-inches peeled and halved crosswise)
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons oleo, cut into small pieces
Chopped parsley, to garnish
Arrange onions, cut side up, in an 11x7-inch microwave safe baking dish. Pour honey over top of onions and dot with oleo. Cover loosely with waxed paper. Microwave on high 8 to 10 minutes, basting with pan juice and rotating dish 1/4 turn twice, until onions are tender.
Note: For garnish, sprinkle with chopped parsley.

4 medium to large Vidalia Onions
Butter or margarine
Pepper
4 beef bouillon cubes
Skin and Core onion. Be careful not to cut through bottom of onion. Place whole trimmed onion in a casserole dish. Place butter or margarine in hole to a depth of half way. Place a whole bouillon cube in hole then finish filling with butter. Cover and bake 30-45 minutes in a 350 degree oven or cook in microwave until tender. Serve onion and drizzle some of the pan juice over onion. Serves 4
