Recipe: Creamy Baked Spinach (using cream cheese)

CREAMY BAKED SPINACH

2 packages (10 oz. each) frozen chopped spinach
2 packages (3 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
4 tbsp. butter or margarine divided use
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 1 quart baking dish.

Cook spinach according to package directions; drain well.

Stir in cream cheese, 2 tablespoons butter and salt. Transfer to prepared baking dish.

Melt remaining butter; toss with bread crumbs. Sprinkle over spinach mixture.

Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.

Servings: 4-6
