Recipe(tried): Hot French Onion Dip (using onion soup mix and Swiss cheese)
Appetizers and SnacksHOT FRENCH ONION DIP
1 envelope of Lipton (Recipe Secrets) onion soup mix
1 (16 oz) carton sour cream
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese, divided use
1/4 cup Hellmann's mayonnaise
French bread slices or your favorite dippers (for serving)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a 1 quart casserole, combine dry soup mix, sour cream, 1 3/4 cups of the Swiss cheese, and mayonnaise.
Bake uncovered, 20-minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup Swiss cheese.
Serve with sliced French bread or your favorite dippers.
