Yes you can freeze Morels, but the best way I fix them to save is to dry them. I slice them down the middle, and open them up and put them out on sheets and dry them. You can save them into paper sacks or even plastic zip lock if they are COMPLETELY dry. I got some that I am going to use tomorrow, that we dried in 1995. All you do is to put them in lightly warm water, and they come right back to the size they were before being dried. And to cook them all I do is wash by rinsing several times, and then roll them in plain old flour, and fry them in margarine. Bonnie
