Well, there are two things. The old folks say that the way to take out stains and mildew is to hang the clothes outside over night and the dew will eliminate stains and smells.
Also, I have heard the only, and I mean ONLY way to get out mildew is lemon juice. I found this page looking for a solution but see nothing major. I am going to try the lemon juice and if I figure it out, will let everyone know.
I need to experiment how much to use for I have a load of towels to do. Of course I am going to buy the larger economy size. Paulette
