I appreciate the dialogue recorded regarding removing mildew from clothing. We pulled out my husband's ski clothes for the first time this season, and they were very smelly - most likely from a mini flood in our basement a couple moths ago. I used a LOT of baking soda in the wash with an extra rinse cycle, and it seems to have eliminated at least 90% of the odor. If it were sunny I'd lay them out in the sun for a few hours and I think all the smell would be gone. Thanks for the advice.
