Recipe(tried): Idaho Spud Bars (using melted chocolate bars, Cool Whip, and coconut)
Desserts - Candy, ChocolateI make Idaho Spud Bars every Christmas.
You need 4 large milk chocolate Hershey bars - they are 7oz. bars (they used to be 8oz. but they make them smaller now). Melt them in microwave.
Mix in 1 (8 oz.) container of Cool Whip that is thawed. If the mixture is too soft you can melt more candy bars and add until you can shape.
Shape into small rolls and let them set up in fridge.
Roll in coconut (you can use angel flake or regular what ever you like).
They taste just like the real spud bars.
