Recipe: Imperial Margarine Cookies and Chocolate Chip Imperial Cookies

Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, Bars
Hi Shar, This looks like the one! I've also included a chocolate chip version you might enjoy. I haven't tried either recipe myself.

IMPERIAL MARGARINE COOKIES

2 sticks (1 cup) Imperial Margarine, room temperature
1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vinegar (see note)

Beat ingredients together 15 minutes on medium speed. (This is a must to ensure light, airy cookies.)

Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 325 degrees F for 10-15 minutes or until slightly tan.

CHOCOLATE CHIP IMPERIAL COOKIES

2 sticks (1 cup) margarine, room temperature
3/4 cup white granulated sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. vinegar
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts

Mix above ingredients together. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Do not flatten.

Bake for 15 minutes at 325 degrees F.
