INDONESIAN CURRY MARINADE
"This is the basic marinade for the Chicken Sate, but it also excellent with pork chops."
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons minced shallot or onion
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
1 1/2 teaspoons Madras-style curry powder
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 teaspoon hot red pepper flakes
In a medium glass or nonreactive bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients. Use immediately.
