Recipe: Jamaican Jerk Rub #1

Toppings - Rubs and Marinades
JAMAICAN JERK RUB #1

4 habanero chili peppers, seeded and chopped (or 7 jalapeno chiles)
1/4 cup ground allspice
3 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons chopped scallion
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Pound or puree all the ingredients to make a thick paste.

Spread paste over meat and marinate for one hour or longer before grilling.
