Recipe: Kentucky Pie

KENTUCKY PIE

1/2 c. melted butter
1 C. sugar
1 C. light corn syrup
4 eggs, beaten
1 - 2 T. bourbon (optional, but good)
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
whipped cream

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine first 7 ingredients; pour into pie shell. Bake for 40 - 45 minutes, or until firm. Serve warm or room temperature with whipped cream.
