Lattice Top Chicken
8 oz. frozen broccoli
8 oz. frozen carrots
{OR 16 oz. bag mixed broccoli, carrots, cauliflower}
2 to 3 cups chopped cooked chicken*
1 package crescent rolls
1 cup milk
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup shredded cheddar
1 small can fried onions
Mix all ingredients together in casserole dish except crescent rolls.
Roll crescent rolls into
rectangle, sealing perforations together. Cut
into 1/2-inch strips the long way and criss cross on top of vegetable mix.
Cover and bake 350 for 35 minutes, remove cover and bake 10-15 more minutes.
*This is also delicious as a side dish without the chicken.
Note: I make it with reduced fat cheddar, 1% milk, reduced fat cream of chicken soup and reduced fat crescent rolls and find it delicious.
